Bath Township begins work on 'menu of services'
BATH TWP. — Over the rest of the year, Bath Township superintendent Troy Feltman will be sitting down with department heads and making a list of what services are being offered and how much it will cost.
It is all part of his plans of converting the township into a "performance-based" style of management. "It's almost like a menu of services, if you will," he said. Bath School & Ballot Election, May 6
Bath will hold a annual school board election. Running are Randy Paape and Steven M. Plemmons for two open seats. Also on the ballot is the proposal to keep the Headlee override of 2 mills on non-homestead properties.
Bath Pharmacy Closed - For Good
Rite Aid bought out the Bath Pharmacy from what I understand and they will not be reopening it.
Superintendent will leave the school district in July
BATH - Superintendent Dennis Furton will leave the school district in July to take the top job at Spring Lake Public Schools.
Bath library a step closer to reality
BATH TWP. — Bath resident Becky Schwarz likes the idea of a library in the township.
"For me, it is something that I am grounded in as a kid. It is something that brings us together as a community and allows people to explore a whole variety of sources of ideas and information that they cannot access any other way," she said. Two Bath Girls Make Cross Country Finals Qualifiers

Bath library report to be discussed
BATH — The Bath Library Committee will present a draft of its report concerning the establishment of a library in Bath at an informational meeting on Monday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Board Room at Bath Township Hall. Community members will have an opportunity to review the committee's recommendations, ask questions and provide input.
Presidential candidate to appear in Bath Township
BATH TWP. — Former Governor of Arkansas and Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will be the keynote speaker for the Clinton County Republican Party's annual Lincoln Day Dinner. The dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m., at the Eagle Eye Golf Course located at 15500 Chandler Road in East Lansing.
